The Solis Algo Trading Protocol

A two-part operating manual for traders running the Solis Algo engine — system optimization rules to govern your execution, and live statistical definitions sourced from our cTrader backtest suite.

Module 01

System Optimization Protocols

The non-negotiable rules that separate disciplined operators from impulsive traders. Master these before scaling capital.

Risk Framework

Cross-Instrument Stacking Framework

Tracking multiple uncorrelated asset classes — for example pairing major Forex flow with Synthetic Indices — increases the count of weekly A+ setups your terminal surfaces. However, it also aggregates risk when correlated drawdowns hit several positions at once.

The protocol enforces a strict ceiling on simultaneous exposure so your equity curve compounds instead of convulses.

Protocol Rule 01

Limit active monitoring to 3–5 distinct instruments. Maintain a strict maximum total portfolio risk ceiling of 1% to 2% across all concurrent open positions.

Execution Tuning

Volatility Adaptation — Widen SL Parameter

Every Solis Algo indicator exposes a custom Widen Stop Loss input. This parameter recalibrates your SL placement relative to the live ATR-derived volatility band of the instrument you are trading.

Its purpose is to protect capital against unnatural liquidity spikes, stop hunts, and session rotations — ensuring your trade is not prematurely stopped out before the macro target is achieved.

Protocol Rule 02

Increase the Widen SL multiplier on high-volatility instruments (V75, GOLD, BTC). Keep it tight on liquid majors during low-session hours.

Module 02

How to Read the Trade Stats Panel

The panel pinned to the top-right of your Solis X chart is a live backtest engine. Every field below explains what it means, why it matters, and how to act on it.

Setups
146signals
The raw sample size. A large Setups count on a single instrument is what turns a hunch into a statistically defensible edge. Aim for 100+ before drawing conclusions.
Wins
45
A win is a setup that resolved profitably — full stop. The engine only counts a trade once the price action has unambiguously reached the target, never on a mid-trade guess.
Losses
101
Losses are the cost of doing business. What matters is that each loss is a capped 1R exposure — never a variable, emotional exit.
Open
0
Setups you would be actively holding right now. Use this to sanity-check that your live positions match the engine's ledger — any drift is a discipline leak.
Pending
1
Armed setups waiting for price to tag the entry box. Pending is your on-deck queue — where alerts should route your attention.
Win Rate
30.8%
Do not chase this number in isolation. A 30% win rate at Avg R of 3+ is dramatically more profitable than a 70% win rate at 0.3 R.
Net R
+160.84R
The bottom line in risk units. R is your base unit of risk, so Net R translates directly to account growth once you fix your per-trade risk %.
Avg R
+1.16R / trade
How asymmetric the engine is. Anything above 1R proves the system is targeting inefficiency-driven moves rather than coin-flip scalps.
Profit Factor
2.59
For every $1 the system loses, it makes ${PF}back. Above 2.0 is elite territory — it means winners more than double the total drawdown of every loser combined.
Expectancy
+1.1R / trade
The ultimate proof of edge. Expectancy fuses win rate and Avg R into a single number — the amount, in R, you should statistically earn per position over a large sample.
Last Signal
Demand @ 49140
Your live handoff. It tells you the direction, price level and zone type of the most recent A+ setup so you can align execution with the engine.
SOLIS X
1
The heartbeat. If this row is missing, the panel isn't live — reload the indicator and confirm your TradingView invite-only access is active.

From Speculation to Asset Management

Read the panel top-to-bottom: sample size first, then Win Rate and Avg R together, then Profit Factor and Expectancy for the verdict, and finally Last Signal for the live handoff. Respect the protocol, execute the rules, and let the math compound.
